The Matkins Archive Researching Rutland	Registered Charity No 700273 Rutland Local History & Record Society Matkins Catalogue Matkins Catalogue
The archive of Matkins the Oakham printer, a collection of examples of Matkins’ output from the late nineteenth to the mid twentieth centuries, is a good resource for those studying local social history and is deposited at Rutland Museum. A temporary version of the catalogue of this archive, comprising 554 catalogue entries, is available on line by selecting the button below or by visiting the Rutland Museum website, selecting Collections then Volunteer Projects. A word search using Find will locate relevant records. This Matkins catalogue is a temporary expedient, pending a current major long-term project which concerns the transfer of existing catalogue entries onto a new database.
