How are nominations made? Nominations can be made at any time. They must give details of the work undertaken, its relevance to the main objects of the Prize, and reasons why the person or group should receive the award. Individuals and groups may nominate themselves. Nominations in writing should be sent to The Secretary, Rutland Local History & Record Society, Rutland County Museum, Catmose Street, Oakham, LW15 9JZ Nominations by email (as a Microsoft Word or PDF document) can also be accepted. They should be sent to What is the judging process? Nominations are judged by a panel of at least three people appointed by the Society’s Management Committee, at least one of whom will be a committee member. After the judging of nominations, the panel will then make recommendations to the Management Committee who are responsible for the final decision. When is the Prize awarded? The prize is normally presented at the Society’s Annual General Meeting in May.
